How the done-for-you build works.

Step 1: Positioning brief.
You fill out a short form (name, niche, ideal reader, cadence, publishing goals). Takes 15 minutes.

Step 2: Build.
We handle every setup step, branding decision, and content draft over 2 to 3 weeks. You review at two checkpoints. That's it.

Step 3: Launch and handoff.
We publish Post 1, hand you the keys, and stay on for 30 days to answer questions and troubleshoot.

When does the done-for-you service open?
Launch date will be announced to the waitlist first. Kit buyers get first access, everyone else gets access after that. Sign up above and we'll email you when the doors open.
What is the founding-member price?
The exact founding-member price will be shared with the waitlist when we open. It will be meaningfully below the $1,297 public launch price. Only kit buyers get the founding rate.
How long does the build take?
Two to three weeks from your positioning brief to your first published post. We handle everything in between.
Do I need to buy the $47 Kit first?
No, but yes. You don't need it to join the waitlist. But if you buy the kit and end up wanting DFY anyway, you get founding-member pricing on the DFY service. The kit purchase pays for itself several times over if you upgrade.
What if I already have a Substack?
DFY works for rebuilds too. If your current publication needs new branding, better positioning, a proper welcome flow, or a monetization overhaul, the service covers all of that.
Do you write my ongoing posts?
No. DFY builds your launch (setup, branding, first 3 posts, first 10 Notes) and gives you the systems to run it yourself after. Ongoing ghostwriting is a separate service, not part of DFY.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Once the build starts, no refunds. If you cancel before the build starts, full refund. Details in the DFY agreement you'll sign at intake.
Can I see examples of Substacks you've built?
Lookout Chatt (chattanooga local newsletter) and Explore Sea Isle City (upcoming) are portfolio examples. Full done-for-you case studies will be published as we complete client builds.
